Shaina Mote is a young designer, born and raised in Los Angeles.  Her design aesthetic has been informed by fusing technical aspects from her background in pattern making with an experimental approach to draping.  With a penchant for design that evolves with the wearer through time, often one will find subtle cues for reinvention within the pieces. Shaina Mote’s collections are produced in Los Angeles where she lives and works today. We spoke to her about her inspiration and creative process.
